Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that three California specimens in JEPS (Martin Lenz, Sep 2003, sw Siskiyou & nw Shasta cos., at the e edge of KR, 780--1410 m) have been determined by M. Wetherwax to belong to Parnassia cirrata var. intermedia (Rydb.) P.K. Holmgren & N.H. Holmgren (Intermountain Flora 3A:61. 1997), based on Parnassia intermedia Rydb. (1905), even though the taxon was not indicated for California in the protologue.
