Watson var. oophorus, recognized and treated as native to California for The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2], and there is no indication to the contrary in the treatments of Astragalus in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1] or for The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2]; the name is not included in Munz.
