Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that Senecio multilobatus [basionym of Packera multilobata] was published by A. Gray in Memoirs of the American Academy of Arts and Science, new series 4:109 (1849), wherein Gray ascribed the name to "Torr. & Gray, Fl. ined." [Article 46.2 of the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature (St. Louis Code) states in part "authorship of a new name or combination must always be accepted as ascribed (in this case, as Torr. & A. Gray), even when it differs from authorship of the publication, when at least one author (in this case, A. Gray) is common to both." Therefore, author citation of basionym corrected to Senecio multilobatus Torr. & A. Gray, from Senecio multilobatus A. Gray previously in this Index, 24 Oct 2006; author citation of this entry corrected to Packera multilobata (Torr. & A. Gray) W. A. Weber & Á. Löve, from Packera multilobata (A. Gray) W. A. Weber & Á.
