Beauch. in Authors of Plant Names) in Phytologia 46:5--6 (1980), based on Pithecellobium minutum M.E. Jones, in Contributions to Western Botany 18:38 (1933). [Therefore, author citation of The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1] misapplied name corrected to Acacia minuta (M.E. Jones) R. M. Beauch. subsp. minuta, from Acacia minuta (M.E. Jones) Beauchamp subsp. minuta previously in this Index, 27 Sep 2005.]
