Hoyer, III, a report of 2 roadside populations within 1.5 miles of each other in El Dorado Co., CA, of Eriogonum heracleoides Nutt. var. heracleoides, which previously had not been known from the Tahoe Basin or from so far south in California overall, and which Hoyer believes might have been "introduced by restoration efforts mitigating roadwork impacts".
