Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that Trifolium obtusiflorum was published in William Jackson Hooker (Hook. in Authors of Plant Names) & Arnott, The Botany of Captain Beechey's Voyage 331 (1838); that in the protologue the name is ascribed to "Hook. Ic. Pl. v. 3. t. 281" referring to Hooker's own Icones Plantarum 3:281 (which was not published until 1840); and that the correct citation is Hook., since the ascription and the authorship have a name in common (ICBN 2006, Art. 46.2, states in part, "...authorship of a new name or combination must always be accepted as ascribed, even when it differs from authorship of the publication, when at least one author is common to both." ). [Therefore, author citation corrected to Trifolium obtusiflorum Hook., from Trifolium obtusiflorum Hook. & Arn. previously in this Index, 21 Mar 2008.]
