Editorial Comments 1
|
Correspondence 1 indicates that George W. Argus, The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1] and The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2] Author, agrees with Dorn that Salix sessilifolia Nutt. does not occur in CA. [Dorn (1998. Brittonia 50:193-210) lists Salix sessilifolia Nutt. as a synonym of Salix exigua Nutt. var. sessilifolia (Nutt.) Dorn, which he indicates for B.C., OR, and WA without addressing its exclusion from CA.]
