Correspondence 3 indicates that the correct author citation is Persicaria lapathifolia (L.) Delarbre. [According to International Plant Names Index, Persicaria lapathifolia (L.) Gray (Nat. Arr. Brit. Pl. 2: 268. 1821) was published about 21 years later than Persicaria lapathifolia (L.) Delarbre (Fl. Auvergne (Delarbre) ed. 2: 519. 1800). In fact, the combination Persicaria lapathifolia was made correctly, in 1800, by Delarbre, who cited "Polygonum lapathifolium. Linn." as basionym. Therefore, author citation corrected to Persicaria lapathifolia (L.) Delarbre, from Persicaria lapathifolia (L.) Gray previously in this Index, 4 Sep 2012.]
