Eaton belong instead to other taxa; that that one specimen (UC195569, with two plants) includes a plant identified as Erigeron ursinus by Arthur Cronquist, who therefore considered the collection data (Yosemite, CA) to be incorrect; and that Strother thinks that UC195569 includes no plants belonging to Erigeron ursinus, that the plants it does include were probably collected from Yosemite, CA, and that Erigeron ursinus D. C. Eaton was misapplied to plants from California by Jepson in Man Fl. Pl. Calif. and by others.[Therefore, a Current Status of Jepson Flora Project-8 is most appropriate at this time.] | |
