Current Status: Persistence tenuous: DOC: Sacramento Co.: Invasive in residential landscape and adjacent field on Larkspur Lane in Citrus Heights. Both sites relatively moist, both with sunny and shady situations. Climbing in Populus fremontii to 40+ft, also in lower borders. Apr. 28, 2000, G.F. Hrusa 15389 (CDA): NOTES: Origin of infestation uncertain, but may have originated as garden ornamental. First noted as a pest in this site in 1992. Owners are attempting extirpation.
