Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that, under Veronica serpyllifolia L. subsp. humifusa in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1], it is stated that "Subsp. s. less hairy, pedicels shorter, flowers and fruit smaller; uncommon lawn weed in w CA-FP; native to Eur."; that there is a specimen (JEPS95961) from V. Oswald identified as Veronica serpyllifolia L. subsp. serpyllifolia from Chico that was originally entered into SMASCH as Veronica serpyllifolia; and that in the Jepson Reference Collection there is a duplicate of JEPS89188 (cited under Comments), namely JEPS8736, that was annotated and is entered into SMASCH as Veronica serpyllifolia subsp. humifusa.
