[Author citation corrected to Tonestus peirsonii (D. D. Keck) G. L. Nesom & D. R. Morgan, from Tonestus peirsonii (D. D. Keck) G. L. Nesom & R. Morgan in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1] and this Index, 10 Mar 2003.]
Correspondence 2 19 Oct 2005 e-mail from Jeff Greenhouse see Comment 2
Editorial Comments 2 Correspondence 2 indicates that L. Urbatsch, R.P. Roberts and K.M. Neubig, in SIDA 21:1615--1632 (2005), describe a new genus, Lorandersonia, which they segregate from Haplopappus on the basis of [DNA] sequence-based phylogenetic studies, and make the new combination Lorandersonia peirsonii (D.D. Keck) Urbatsch, R.P. Roberts & Neubig, based on Haplopappus eximius subsp. peirsonii D.D. Keck. [This taxon treated as Tonestus peirsonii (D. D. Keck) G. L. Nesom & D. R. Morgan in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1].]
