U.S. Geogr. Surv., Wheeler vol. vi--Botany 6:282 (1878), and that Vasey, the author of Gramineae in that work, ascribed the name but not the description to Thurb. [Therefore, author citation expanded to Sporobolus flexuosus (Thurb. ex Vasey) Rydb., from Sporobolus flexuosus (Vasey) Rydb. previously in this Index, 31 Mar 2005.] | |||||
