Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that Sanguisorba annua was published by Torr. & A. Gray in A Flora of North America 1(3):429 (1840), that they ascribed the name to "Nutt.! mss." and gave the basionym as Poterium annuum Nutt. (Flora Boreali-Americana (Hooker) 1:198. 1832). [Therefore, author citation corrected to Sanguisorba annua (Nutt.) Nutt. ex Torr. & A. Gray, from Sanguisorba annua (Hook.) Torr. & A. Gray previously in this Index, 23 Jul 2008.]
