Presl ex DC. in this Index and in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2]), which is treated in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2] (p. 160) as having been misapplied to plants belonging instead to Sambucus nigra L. subsp. caerulea (Raf.) Bolli, for which Sambucus caerulea Raf. is the basionym.
