| Editorial Comments 1 | Correspondence 1 indicates: that Rorippa calycina var. columbiae (The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1] synonym) was published by Reed Rollins (Rollins in Authors of Plant Names) in Contributions from the Dudley Herbarium 3(5):176 (1941), based on Nasturtium sinuatum var. columbiae published in Gray, Synoptical Flora of North America 1(1[1]):147 (1895); that S. Watson (= Authors of Plant Names) is indicated as the author of the treatment for Nasturtium, not B. L. Robinson, who was the editor; and that Watson gave the attribution "Suksdorf (as spec.)", suggesting that he was basing the combination on "Nasturtium columbiae Suksd.", except for the fact that Suksdorf had not yet published that name, so that the basionym citation is just S. Watson. [Therefore, author citation of The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1] synonym corrected to Rorippa calycina (Engelm.) Rydb. var. columbiae (S. Watson) Rollins, from Rorippa calycina (Engelm.)
