Correspondence 2 8 Dec 2008 e-mail from Judy Gibson see Comment 2
Editorial Comments 2 Correspondence 1 indicates that Raul Gutierrez, Master's student at ASU monographing Proboscidea, has annotated four San Diego Co. specimens as Proboscidea parviflora (Wooton) Wooton & Standl. subsp. parviflora; that the plants involved are definitely naturalized; and that there is only one specimen of Proboscidea hohokamiana [Proboscidea parviflora (Wooton) Wooton & Standl. var. hohokamiana Bretting] from San Diego [Co.?] at the San Diego Natural History Museum, and it is from a plant in cultivation.
