Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that Tracey Slotta (The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1] author for Malacothamnus) has resurrected in her PhD thesis at Virginia Tech Malacothamnus hallii (treated as synonym of Malacothamnus fasciculatus in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1]) and Malacothamnus orbiculatus (treated as synonym of Malacothamnus fremontii in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1]), and that annotations in the UC/Jeps loan just returned by Slotta reflect these changes.
