[PDF attached to Correspondence 1 includes protologue of new combination, Novon 14: 473. 2004, in which it is indicated that, when removed from Filago, an earlier specific epithet becomes available for the species long known as Filago californica, yielding Logfia filaginoides (Hook. & Arn.) Morefield.]
