Initial Editorial Comments | Lamiastrum galeobdolon cv. 'variegatum' reported by Hrusa et al., ms; according to Source b, persistence tenuous, yet conditions of cited occurrences evidently qualify for inclusion in the flora according to criteria employed by Jepson Flora Project (20 Feb 2003).
Correspondence and Comments Subsequent to Initial Analysis
Correspondence 1 | Treatment and author notes submitted for The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2] by Thomas J. Rosatti see Comment 1
Editorial Comments 1 | Correspondence 1 indicates that for The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2] Lamiastrum galeobdolon (L.) Ehrend. & Polatschek is to be treated as a waif in CA, because although the plants were said to be "locally established" in conditions that would qualify for inclusion in the flora, it also was said that the plants are garden escapes and that their persistence is tenuous (Source a, Source b); in addition, there is no evidence that the plants are reproducing and/or spreading in any way.
