Correspondence and Comments Subsequent to Initial Analysis
Correspondence 1 8 May 2008 e-mail from David J. Keil see Comment 1
Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that, according to David J. Keil (author of key to families in The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1], The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2]), Festuca arundinacea and Festuca pratensis are treated as Schedonorus arundinaceus (Schreb.) Dumort and Schedonorus pratensis (Huds.) P. Beauv. in Flora North America 24: 445--448, and there is good evidence that Schedonorus is closer to Lolium than to Festuca.
