Editorial Comments 1 | Correspondence 1 indicates that, based on collections made in northern part of the Carrizo Plain (by David Kail in 1993, by The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1] Author Curtis Clark in 1995), and a report by Bart O'Brien that he had seen a similar plant somewhat to the south of that, and a more recent report [not cited] that the species has been rediscovered at the Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, the taxon should no longer be considered extinct, and the status should be changed to RARE, with a distribution as SnJV (Carrizo Plain, San Luis Obispo Co.), SnFrB (Corral Hollow, Alameda Co.) | |||||
