Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 includes a paper by Simpson et al. (Madrono 61:259-275. 2014) in which it is concluded that Cryptantha micrantha (Torr.) I. M. Johnst. var. micrantha and Cryptantha micrantha (Torr.) I. M. Johnst. var. lepida (A. Gray) I. M. Johnst. should each be recognized, as species, in Eremocarya, a recently resurrected segregate of Cryptantha, as Eremocarya micrantha (Torr.) Greene and Eremocarya lepida (A. Gray) Greene, respectively.
