[Cyperus esculentus L. var. macrostachyus Boeckeler is not in Manual of Flowering Plants of California, Munz, Munz Supplement, Munz Southern California Flora, or The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1], is listed as a synonym of Cyperus esculentus in Abrams & Ferris, Illustrated Flora of the Pacific States, and is indicated no nearer to California than NM in Kartesz & Meacham.] | |||||
