Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that for The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2] Carex vulpinoidea Michx. is to be treated as naturalized in, not native to, CA, with no infraspecific taxa recognized and with a note stating that it was first collected +- outside cult in California in a redwood grove in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco in 1958, and then collected in Shasta Co. and nearby in 1982, where it has been increasing since.
