Editorial Comments 1 | Correspondence 1 indicates that for The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2] Lotus scoparius (Torr. & A. Gray) Ottley is to be treated as a synonym of Acmispon glaber (Vogel) Brouillet. [Although the combination was published by Brouillet (J. Bot. Res. Inst. Texas 2(1): 390. 2008) as Acmispon glabrus, Acmispon in fact is treated as masculine, and according to Stearn's Botanical Latin (p. 93), the nominative singular masculine form of this word is glaber, and glabrus is never correct.] | |||||
