Correspondence and Comments Subsequent to Initial Analysis
Correspondence 1 11 Oct 2005 e-mail from Jeff Greenhouse see Comment 1
Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that Acacia decurrens var. dealbata (synonym of Acacia dealbata) was published by J.H. Maiden (Maiden in Authors of Plant Names) in Wattles and Wattle-Barks, ed. 3:39 (1906), wherein he ascribed the combination to "F.v.M." (Ferdinand von Mueller, F. Muell. in Authors of Plant Names) and based it on Acacia dealbata Link (Enumeratio Plantarum Horti Regii Berolinensis Altera 2: 445. 1822). [Therefore, author citation of The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1] synonym corrected to Acacia decurrens (Wendl.) Willd. var. dealbata (Link) F. Muell. ex Maiden, from Acacia decurrens (Wendl.) Willd. var. dealbata (Link) F. Muell. previously in this Index, 12 Oct 2005.]
