Correspondence and Comments Subsequent to Initial Analysis
Correspondence 1 14 Apr 2005 pers. comm. from Jeff Greenhouse, reference to Brouillet, L. New Reports of Eurybia and Aster s. str. (Asteraceae see Comment 1
Editorial Comments 1 Brouillet (Sida 21(1): 459-461. 2004; The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2] Author) examined specimens from California (Siskiyou Co.) previously determined to belong to species including Eurybia radulina (A. Gray) G. L. Nesom (Aster radulinus A. Gray) and determined them to belong instead to Eurybia merita, evidently previously not reported for CA; he also indicated that Eurybia merita appears to be of conservation concern in CA, although further study of specimens determined to belong to Eurybia radulina could reveal additional localities for Eurybia merita.
