| Editorial Comments 1 | Correspondence 1 indicates that although Eucalyptus pulchella was not found in this Index, there are 2 records in SMASCH from UC: UC41002, UC1789163, both from parks (Joaquin Miller and Peralta). [According to Barbara Ertter (pers. comm., 9 Feb 2006), her specimen (UC1789163; 2001, from Joaquin Miller Park, Oakland Hills) belongs to Eucalyptus pulchella Desf., both UC specimens have been sent to Les Landrum (author of Eucalyptus for The Jepson Manual [Ed. 2]), and the species is clearly naturalized in CA; according to http://www.metrotrees.com.au/treehandbook/page-listings/eucalyptus-pulchella.html, the species is also known as White Peppermint, and is endemic (naturally) to Tasmania.] | |||||
