| Editorial Comments 1 | Correspondence 1 states, verbatim: Tom: I found a note under Euphorbia dendroides in the Interchange that says 'could be treated as Chamaesyce dendroides'. There is really no precedent for treating Euphorbia dendroides within Chamaesyce. I don't know where that comes from, perhaps Kartesz, but his treatment should have been reviewed by Grady or me, who wouldn't have thought it a Chamaesyce either. It is one of the more well-known cultivated arborescent species of the "esula" group, far removed and bearing no resemblance to Chamaesyce. I'm guessing this was just a mixup in communication.//Also, note that the single specimen of the taxon at UC/JEPS (UC1541157) is (or was) filed in Chamaesyce, and it is entered into the database that way as well.
