Editorial Comments 1 | Correspondence 1 indicates that Plagiobothrys lithocaryus was published by I.M. Johnston (I.M. Johnst. in Authors of Plant Names) in Contributions from the Gray Herbarium of Harvard University 68: 76 (1923), based on Krinitzkia lithocarya published by A. Gray in Proceedings of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences 20: 265 (1885), wherein Gray ascribed the name to "Greene, ined." but supplied his own Latin description. [Therefore, author citation corrected to Plagiobothrys lithocaryus (Greene ex A. Gray) I. M. Johnst., from Plagiobothrys lithocaryus (Greene) I. M. Johnst. previously in this Index, 7 Feb 2008.] | |||||
