Editorial Recommendation spelling of epithet to be checked [resolved]
Correspondence and Comments Subsequent to Initial Analysis
Correspondence 1 8 May 2007 e-mail from Jeff Greenhouse see Comment 1
Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that Lewisia leeana (Porter) B.L. Rob. (Synoptical Flora of North America 1(1): 267. 1897) was based on Calandrinia leeana Porter (Botanical Gazette 1(12): 49. 1876), and that Porter named his plant for "Mr. L.W. Lee", so that "leeana" is the correct spelling of the epithet according to ICBN (2000) Rec. 60C.1(c). [Therefore, spelling of epithet corrected to "leeana", from "leana" previously in this Index, 8 May 2007.]
