Correspondence 1 indicates that the Royle publication (Illustrations of the Botany of the Himalayan Mountains 1, 1839) as indicated by Kartesz & Meacham is only available at the Bancroft Library [at UC Berkeley] and that Greenhouse did not pursue it because access is somewhat difficult, he could find no reference by Casp., and the authors apparently corrected the citation to Royle. [Therefore, author citation corrected to Hydrilla verticillata (L. f.) Royle, from Hydrilla verticillata (L. f.) Casp. previously in this Index, 24 Oct 2007.]
