Strother as belonging to Dittrichia viscosa (L.) Greuter; according to Akulova, the plants are "definitely naturalized and spreading around". [The author of this Index visited the site on McGary Road on 9 Oct 2014 and observed the plants to be well established (along the roadside as well as down a small slope into a more vegetated, shrubby area), flowering, fruiting, and appearing to be spreading by vegetative growth.]
