[The epithet is spelled "niliaca" (of the Nile) in the protologue (Mem. Reale Accad. Sci. Torino Ser. II, xiv. (1854) 322), as well as in International Plant Names Index, and, according to Wiktionary at least, this spelling is consistent with the way this adjective is declined ("niliacus", m; "niliaca", f, the form to be used here; and "niliacum", n).
