Editorial Comments 1 Correspondence 1 indicates that Dieter H. Wilken and Elizabeth L. Painter, The Jepson Manual [Ed. 1] Co-Authors of Bromus, probably will follow Peterson et al., (Aliso 20:21--36.2001), who, on the basis of morphological and molecular data, recognize Bromus ciliatus and Bromus richardsonii as distinct species, citing specimens of Bromus richardsonii from John Muir Wilderness in Inyo Co. in extreme southern c SNH (US), from Big Pine Creek in s SNH (US), and the San Gorgonio Mtns in SnBr (DAO).
