Se on n2 for 2.2 mi, then follow usfs 8n04 (ridge route) for 2.9 mi, then Left on leibre mtn truck trail for 0.6 mi, then right on 7n221 toward cold Spring for 0.5 mi.] Huge pop extending 30 m above, 30 m below, and 100 m a- Long rd. Exposed w-facing sand/gravel slope. Bromus rubus, lupinus sp., And Some small composite shrubs are all that's on this slope. Oak/digger woodland At edge of this gravel slope but only in a protected canyon--most of the sur- Rounding area is coastal scrub mixed with chapparal: nolina, salvia, arctosta- Phylos, eriogonum fasciculatum, chamise.
