Vail Lake area, N flank and summit of Wild Horse Peak in Agua Tibia Mtns, Cleveland Nat. Forest. T8S, R1W E1/2 SE1/4 sec. 27; S1/2 SW1/4 sec. 26. Most of slopes burned chaparral, unburned patches on summit, oaks and Pseudotsuga in upper draws. Annual grass, scattered on burned slopes.
