This most likely refers to an important biodiversity area in Lake County known as La Cienega de Carlos, which is near the junction of Sulphur, Kelsey, and Alder creeks. On this date, Neilson collected west of the Glenbrook Cemetary along a tributary of Kelsey Creek, and this record is georeferenced with those records.)
