Southern Cuyamaca Mountains, southwestern end of Poser Mountain in gravelly depression on ridgetop ca. 1/4 mile northeast of the intersection of Conejos Truck Trail and Viejas Grad Road.

San Felipe Valley Wildlife Area, California Department of Fish & Game. 12.5 miles south of intersection of State Hwy 79 and County Hwy S-2. West of S-2 in ranch road near San Felipe Creek (dry) at base of eastern flank of Volcan Mountain.
Granite Mountain State Wilderness, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. West of Blair Valley near Eco Camps (unofficial park name). 3.3 miles SE of Granite Mountain summit, 6.6 miles W of Whale Peak, and 0.5 mile N of County hwy. S-2.
