BigHorn Mountains Wilderness. North of New Dixie Mine Road, near 34.27578N 116.53655W, to west spur of mountain, near 34.28352N 116.53726W., Climb to top of peak near 34.28374N 116.53450W. Then down southeast side to a spring just north of the road. Near 34.27768N 116.53085.
Rattlesnake Canyon in Johnson Valley, Ca. From Lucerne Valley at Junction of CA- 247 (also called Old Woman Springs Rd) & 18, take CA- 247 southeast for 18.5 miles., Turn right (SW) on Rattlesnake Canyon Rd. Cross a cattle guard and continue onto BLM Rd 3331. Mileage to site from HWY 247 is 5 miles. Collection up on sand bars above both sides of canyon wash.
S of Ruby Mountain, west of Landers: From Yucca Valley, CA, travel 11.3 miles North on CA-HWY 247. Turn left on New Dixie Mine Rd. Continue onto BLM Rd 2330 for 3 miles (from HWY 247);, Collection site on both sides of dirt road in hills above wash.
Clark Mountain Range: at southwest base of range, along powerline road, 3.5 mi ENE of Jct Cima Rd and I-15 at Valley Wells, 1.5 mi N of Interstate 15. BLM lands.
SW of Bighorn wilderness area. From Yucca Valley: Take Pioneertown rd NW for 7.5 miles. Continue onto Rimrock Rd for 1.4 miles;, Turn left onto Burns Canyon Rd and follow for 4.7 miles to a left turn to stay on Burns Canyon Rd for 1.4 miles. Burns Canyon Rd turns left and becomes Viscera Springs Rd. Continue for 3 miles. Collection site off BLM Rd 3331 in wash running N/S.
From intersection of I-40 and Kelbaker Rd, take Kelbaker Rd south for about 1 mile to an unpaved BLM Rd paralleling a gas line heading E towards the Trilobite Wilderness.
North of Whipple Mtns in Chemehuevi Wash. From Havasu Lake, take Havasu Lake Rd W for 4.9 miles. Turn left on unpaved powerline rd and travel 3.2 miles to wash.

Along Stoddard Wells Road (7566?), north end of road, southwest of Highway 247, north of Stoddard Valley, Stoddard Well, and Stoddard Mountain. West-northwest of Watkins 3482.
Along Highway 247 at pass over Stoddard Ridge, east end of ridge, south end of Stoddard Valley, north edge of Lucerne Valley; south of Barstow, north of town of Lucerne Valley.
South of I-40 just west of Hector Road, along National Trails Highway (66). Southwest of Hector, east-southeast of Poe, between Newberry Springs and Ludlow.
Along Turtle Mountain Road. From Needles, drive south of CA-95 for 21 miles, then take a right (west) onto Turtle Mountain Road. Collection was centered east of the area where the road is crossed by Chemehuevi Wash.
Mesquite Mountains: north-facing limestone shelves about 0.2 mi. south of Kingston Rd, 7.5 mi. NE of junction with Excelsior Mine Rd, about 4 mi. east of Sandy Valley.
Mopah Wash, Mopah Range, eastern Turtle Mountains, north-northeast of Mopah Peak. About 3 miles up wash from road 629 (Heritage Trail), starting about 4.5 miles west of Highway 95. Northwest of Vidal Junction.
