Great headwaters basin of s. fk. San Joaquin Riv. (Goddard Cany.) at ca. 10,400' to 10,800' w. of 13,568' Mt. Goddard (Blackcap Mt. and Mt. Goddard Quads.). Long slant ne. down steep upper 500' and the More Grad., Lower slopes from the 11,400' lake in saddle of Le Conte Divide which is w. wall of the basin.
Steep, broken-rock, gravelly, W-SW facing slope above the round pocket meadow lying at 10,950 ft between the 2 creeks draining west from extensive lake and tarn area NW of 13,568 ft Mt. Goddard., (Mt. Goddard Quad.). The N creek drains down this 250' slope from a lakelet at forward edge of large bench.
West hall of Goddard canyon (S. Fk. San Joaquin Riv.) above upper (IE. S) end of great rocky salix mead. which ccupies floor or canyon from 10,000 to 10,100 with red cliffs making up e. wall (Blackcap Mt. Quad.)
10700 near Bighorn L. at headwater N. Fk. Mono Crk. 2 m.w. of 12,841 ft Red and White Mt. on Sierran Crest. In meadowy margin of rill at base of talus to 11,600 ft ridge w. of Bighorn L., Rill leads up to northern and higher of the two small deep unnamed lakes at base of talus.
