The RSA duplicate for Howell 484 is a Helianthus annuus and of the 30+ collections Howell made this day, nearly all are from the vicinity of Santa Ana Canyon. One is supposedly from Big Bear. However, these areas are quite a distance from Yosemite. If Chrysolepis is correct, the collection almost certainly came from a different day. | |||||
