A Steering Committee helps the PI supervise the
grant and its activities, by working on the group's behalf in
planning the events for the year, making awards for student fellowships,
and interfacing generally with related groups such as the Deep
Time RCN, the Deep Green Executive Committee, etc. Each year two
of the SC members will rotate off to be replaced by new members
chosen by the SC.
