Susan Bainbridge
Susan Bainbridge began working at the Jepson Herbarium in the spring of 1999. She works on floristic, conservation, and ecological projects through small grants and contracts. She is also the Corresponding Secretary of the California Botanical Society and Vegetation Chair for the East Bay chapter of the California Native Plant Society.
Projects include:
- Floristic Inventory of the 44,000 acres Dye Creek Preserve
- Geologic-based conservation plan for vernal pools
- Ecology and viability analysis of the threatened Holocarpha macradenia
- Ecology and restoration of California grasslands
