Friends of the Jepson Herbarium
         
Identifying plants in the field Jepson workshop class at a vernal pool Jepson workshop class in the White Mountains   The Friends of the Jepson Herbarium is an organization that provides support for the valuable research and programs of the Jepson Herbarium. Contributions from the Friends are an important part of the Herbaria's operating budget and continue to ensure ongoing research and publications on California's rare and endangered flora.

  • All Friends receive our newsletter The Jepson Globe which includes updates on Herbarium research and activities, profiles of Botanists, and notices from other botanical organizations.


  • Our Friends receive discounts on our public programs


  • We hope our Friends gain satisfaction from knowing they provide an invaluable resource to the Herbarium as we continue to study, understand, and conserve California's rich flora.

Friends of the Jepson Herbarium
Membership levels

Basic Membership ($35 individual, $50 family)
Basic members receive The Jepson Globe and discounts on Weekend Workshops.

Sustaining Membership ($200)
Receive basic membership benefits plus acknowledgement in the Jepson eFlora.

Lifetime Membership ($5,000 total, or pledge a minimum of $250/year)
Demonstrate your dedication and commitment to the Jepson Herbarium with a lifetime membership. Gain recognition for your support in The Jepson Globe and the Jepson eFlora. Share your ideas with the Director and Curator at special, invitation-only events.
