Camissoniopsis luciae (P.H. Raven) W.L. Wagner & Hoch
Habit: Annual, rosetted; hairs dense, spreading. Stem: erect, < 60 cm. Leaf: 13--55 mm; cauline widely lanceolate to narrowly oblong, minutely dentate, sessile. Flower: hypanthium 2--3 mm; sepals 2.5--4.5 mm; petals 4--7 mm, basal spot 1. Fruit: 15--20 mm, 1.3--2 mm wide, cylindric, drying +- 4-angled, straight to 2-coiled. Seed: 1.3--1.5 mm. Chromosomes: 2n=42.
Ecology: Openings in chaparral; Elevation: 300--1400 m. Bioregional Distribution: SCoRO (Monterey Co.). Flowering Time: Mar--May Note: Self-pollinated. Probably derived from Camissoniopsis hirtella × Camissoniopsis intermedia.
