Nemacladus calcaratus Morin
Habit: Erect, 2--4 cm, branches from base or 0.5--1 cm above. Stem: ascending; base dull, red-brown. Leaf: 2--5 mm, narrowly lanceolate to +- spoon-shaped or elliptic, remotely toothed, hairy, narrowed to wide petiole. Inflorescence: axis +- zigzag; bracts 1--1.2(2) mm, lance-ovate, clasping pedicel at base, reflexed above; pedicels 10--12 mm, +- 0.1 mm diam, spreading, straight or arched. Flower: not inverted; hypanthium +- 0.5 mm; sepals 0.8--1.5 mm, lanceolate, lowest reflexed, others ascending to erect; corolla divided 2/3 to base, white with pink or red midvein, tube widely cup-shaped, lobes all held on adaxial side of flower, bases of 2 lowest fused into spur; filaments slightly upcurved, 1.8--2 mm, tip +- curved, long-hairy, appendages stalk-like, attached at base of ovary, cells narrow, pointed, anthers 0.3--0.4 mm; ovary +- 1/2-inferior. Fruit: +- 3 mm, base, tip rounded. Seed: 1--1.2 mm, oblong, impressed vertical lines crossed by fine transverse lines.
