Limonium brassicifolium (Webb & Berthel.) Kuntze
Habit: Perennial herb, erect, 20--60 cm. Leaf: petiole 4--6 cm; blade 8--35 cm, 3.5--12.0 cm wide, obovate to narrowly obovate, pinnately lobed toward base. Inflorescence: axes winged, wings 5--20 mm wide, leaf-like bracts 0; clusters 1-flowered, crowded in terminal 2.5 cm of branch tips; flower bracts 4 mm, tip mucronate to truncate. Flower: calyx 10 mm, tube 4 mm, glabrous, lobes 6 mm, blue-purple; corolla white.
Ecology: Uncommon; disturbed areas, coastal lagoons; Elevation: < 15 m. Bioregional Distribution: SCo; Distribution Outside California: native to Canary Islands. Flowering Time: Feb
