Limonium preauxii (Webb & Berthel.) Kuntze
Habit: Perennial herb, erect, <= 50 cm. Leaf: petiole 4--11 cm, 0.5--1 × blade; blade 3--10 cm, 3--10 cm wide, ovate, entire, glabrous, generally cordate at base, tip acuminate, < 3 mm. Inflorescence: axes narrowly winged, wings <= 1.2 mm wide; clusters 2--4, crowded in terminal 0.5 cm of branch tips; flower bracts 2--5 mm, mucronate to rounded. Flower: calyx +- 10 mm, blue-purple, sparsely hairy; corolla > calyx, white.
Ecology: Disturbed areas; Elevation: 225 m. Bioregional Distribution: PR; Distribution Outside California: native to the Canary Islands. Flowering Time: Feb
